Basketball Game Preview: Red Bluff Spartans vs. Enterprise Hornets

Red Bluff hasn't had much luck against Enterprise recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Red Bluff Spartans will be playing at home against the Enterprise Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Red Bluff is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 88-46 victory over Yreka. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Spartans have posted since December 28, 2023.

Kayden Leaf was the offensive standout of the match as he went 7 for 14 en route to 15 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Demchuk, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points.

Red Bluff was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Enterprise ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They walked away with a 79-72 victory over West Valley.

Red Bluff better keep an eye on Alijah Collins. He was instrumental in Enterprise's win, going 13 for 22 en route to 35 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Those 35 points gave Collins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ja'Kye Rawls, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists.

Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Red Bluff, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 12-8.
