The SkyView Academy Hawks will take on the Flatirons Academy Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flatirons Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on SkyView Academy, who comes in off a win.

Dawson School came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against SkyView Academy, but Taylor Bales wouldn't allow it. The Hawks came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Bales, who had 15 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
SkyView Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-16, 14-25, 25-17.
Meanwhile, Flatirons Academy faced Lyons in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bison took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The loss was the Bison's first of the season.
While Flatirons Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.
SkyView Academy will have to contain Tessa Miller as she made an impact in Flatirons Academy's last game. She had 21 digs and one assist.
Having lost for the first time this season, Flatirons Academy fell to 11-1. As for SkyView Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: SkyView Academy has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Flatirons Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
