The Seneca Bobcats won the last time they faced the Broome Centurions, and things went their way on Monday too. Seneca secured a 53-47 W over Broome.
Seneca can attribute much of their success to Claire Eavenson, who scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Karmandee Hall, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Broome lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anaya Wofford. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Dakota Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds.
The victory got Seneca back to even at 1-1. As for Broome, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Seneca won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m. on November 21st. Broome is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Greer Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on November 21st.
