 Even though they lost, Scott  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 13  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cimarron only tossed eight.
 Cimarron's win was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Scott, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-3.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Hugoton the next time they take the field. Scott will  host Hugoton at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Cimarron will play them later in the day, at 2:00  p.m.
