Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Fisher's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lexington.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-9,  25-19.
 DeLand-Weldon's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Fisher, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
 DeLand-Weldon couldn't quite get it done against Fisher when the teams last played  back in October of 2024 as they fell  2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
