Bicentennial recap November 5, 2013
Bristol extended the longest winning streak in Bicentennial this week by beating Morrisville, 67-8. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Bristol led the league in scoring this week after putting up 67 points on the Bulldogs. R.j. Collins threw for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.
Leo Plenski's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Donte Simmons contributed 143 yards. Tyriq Wilson helped Bristol's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
The Warriors' dynamic duo of Collins and Aidan Coughlin proved tough for Morrisville to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wilson helped Bristol's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
Simmons was a passing and rushing force as Bristol topped Bill Quill's team.
Bristol's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trevor Leone has thrown for 1,276 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Wilson has 19 catches for 446 yards.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when the Warriors' Wilson goes up against Jenkintown's Alec Misinkavitch.
Next week's game between Bristol and the Drakes will feature a good passing match up as Leone will test his arm against Misinkavitch's defensive ability.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Warriors and Jenkintown face off next week.
An important game coming up in Bicentennial this week will be when Bristol takes on Anthony Owens' team. The Warriors are currently in second, while the Drakes are in fifth.

Calvary Christian Academy made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,615 from 13,785. The improvement was the result of a 35-14 victory over the Cougars last week.
