Nevada were able to grind out a solid victory over Vinton-Shellsburg on Friday, winning 28-21.
The win bumped Nevada's record up to 3-2. Vinton-Shellsburg are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Nevada take on Benton at 7:30 PM. Benton took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Nevada's good fortune. Vinton-Shellsburg will be staying on the road, facing off against West Marshall. Vinton-Shellsburg stagger into the matchup hobbled by five consecutive losses while West Marshall skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
