South View is 8-2 against Gray's Creek since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South View Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Gray's Creek Bears at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully South View is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Gray's Creek in North Carolina (South View is ranked 182nd, while Gray's Creek is ranked 449th).
In what's become a running theme this season, South View gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cape Fear Christian Academy 58-21 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win South View has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Nahmiah Aekins, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zakiera Gaillard, who scored five points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Gray's Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Douglas Byrd by a score of 50-43.
The win was the third in a row for South View, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.67 points. As for Gray's Creek, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Everything went South View's way against Gray's Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as South View made off with a 48-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South View since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
