New Dimensions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 40 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 71-27 win over Vanguard at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for New Dimensions.
Jeriel Martinez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of New Dimensions' points. Blake Ferrante was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four blocks.
New Dimensions' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Vanguard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Dimensions will face off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vanguard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fort Meade at 8:00 p.m. on January 11th. The timing is sure in Fort Meade's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Vanguard has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
