The Ouachita Parish Lions will head out on the road to take on the Alexandria Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Ouachita Parish took a serious blow against Ruston, falling 66-36.
Meanwhile, Alexandria lost to Carroll at home by a decisive 64-49 margin on Tuesday.
Despite their loss, Alexandria saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ashton Bobb, who scored 11 points along with three steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyshawn Duncan, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Ouachita Parish now has a losing record at 15-16. As for Alexandria, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season.
Ouachita Parish didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Alexandria when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-58 win.
