On Sunday, Eastside was able to grind out a solid victory over Atlantic City, taking the game 64-53. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Eastside has scored all season.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mahdee McNair, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Love, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Eastside's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Atlantic City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-1.
Eastside will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Bishop Eustace Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Atlantic City, they will be playing at home against Lower Cape May at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Lower Cape May will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
