Carlos Cardoza Turns in Season-Best Performance
Greeley Central was led to victory by Carlos Cardoza, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cardoza rushed for 195 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 45 receiving yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.

The victory for Mead keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Hiner and Mead will square off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Windsor Gets a Boost from Thomas in 14-6 Victory
Windsor picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Tripp Thomas. Thomas turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 127 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Those 127 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
On the season, Thomas has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 83.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Mead picked up their eighth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Edison Burke. Northridge had no answer to Burke as he picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Burke and Mead will square off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burke will face off against Tripp Thomas, the Wizards' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
