Girard never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Northwestern Wildcats with a sharp 14-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mason Kalicky was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Aidan Maher, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Girard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwestern only posted an OBP of .286.
