St. Joseph Academy extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sean Ambuul. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Army-Navy Warriors on Tuesday thanks in part to Ambuul, who had 11 digs and four blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now had two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

While St. Joseph Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Army-Navy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sean Germani had 45 digs and three assists. Those 45 digs set a new season-high mark for Germani.

St. Joseph Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Army-Navy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

St. Joseph Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Escondido Adventist Academy on the 17th. As for Army-Navy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against High Tech NC on the 16th.
