Duncanville came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Corner Canyon, but Dillon Roberts wouldn't allow it. The Chargers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers and Pantherettes on Friday, sneaking past 52-49 with plenty of help from Roberts, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Ty Kozlowski, who posted three points in addition to seven boards and five blocks. He is becoming a predictor of Corner Canyon's success: when he posts at least five blocks the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

The win got Corner Canyon back to even at 4-4. As for Duncanville, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Corner Canyon has already played their next game, a 67-49 victory against Lufkin on the 13th. As for Duncanville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-52 win against Lehi on the 13th.
