Rockwall-Heath found their leader in underclassman Ryan Hampton, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hampton has scored at least 25% of Rockwall-Heath's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Cranford, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
Rockwall-Heath's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Brownfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Midland the next time they take the court. Rockwall-Heath will head out to face Midland at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, while Brownfield will head out to face them at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
