Skyview is 6-0 against Ridgevue since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Skyview Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Ridgevue Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On November 14th, Skyview beat Nampa 53-40. The victory was just what Skyview needed coming off of a 52-21 loss in their prior game.
Even though Ridgevue has not done well against Columbia recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Ridgevue slipped by Columbia 47-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgevue.
Among those leading the charge was Mckenna Durrant, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Ridgevue's points. Jacotah Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Skyview back to even at 1-1. As for Ridgevue, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
