Suffern has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will challenge the Ossining Pride at 5:00 p.m.
Last Saturday, Suffern came up short against Monroe-Woodbury and fell 57-44.
Meanwhile, Ossining entered their tilt with Valhalla with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ossining blew past Valhalla 88-43 at home. Given Ossining's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Valhalla is ranked 256th), the result last Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ossining can attribute much of their success to Kris Singh, who scored 21 points. The match was Singh's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aki Williams, who scored 12 points.
Suffern's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Ossining, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
