The Rockwell Marshals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Maeser Prep Academy 69-22 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.
Despite the loss, Maeser Prep Academy still got an impressive performance from Autumn Dossey, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Dossey set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Octavia Mosher, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Rockwell now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Maeser Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Rockwell will be playing at home against Intermountain Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Intermountain Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Maeser Prep Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (St. Joseph is ranked 124th, while Maeser Prep Academy is ranked 132nd).
