Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowman Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Branham, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Nickolas Black was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
South Bend Adams' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jarvis Tolbert, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Tolbert's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amari Wesson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
The win got Bowman Academy back to even at 7-7. As for South Bend Adams, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Bowman Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gary West Side at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Gary West Side's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. As for South Bend Adams, they will head out on the road to face off against South Bend Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully South Bend Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five last Thursday.
