The Bishop Kenny Crusaders can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 65-7 victory over Riverside. The win was nothing new for Bishop Kenny as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Bishop Kenny's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Clare Coyle led the charge by scoring 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Makala DesJarlais, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Bishop Kenny pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Riverside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will take on Parker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fleming Island at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fleming Island focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
