Dalton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fannin County Rebels. The Pumas were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.
Fannin County found their leader in sophomore Amberly Patterson, who had seven digs and two aces. Audrey Veal also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.
Dalton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Fannin County, they now have a winning record of 14-13.
