The Immaculate Conception Lions will be playing at home against the Arts Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Immaculate Conception will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Immaculate Conception fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Bishop McNamara on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to the Mustangs. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Arts didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sports Leadership & Management on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. The victory was just what Arts needed coming off of a 62-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Immaculate Conception has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Arts, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Immaculate Conception skirted past Arts 53-50 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Does Immaculate Conception have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
