Loving will square off against Hagerman at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-67, which was the final score in Loving's tilt against Eunice last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Hagerman, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were dealt a punishing 0-50 loss at the hands of Jal. The state rankings had actually given Hagerman a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
