A well-balanced attack led Westran over Salisbury in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Westran Hornets enjoyed a cozy 54-36 win over the Salisbury Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Westran got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Black out in front who posted nine points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Marshall Kitchen, who had eight points and ten boards.

Westran has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Salisbury, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

Westran and Salisbury should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Westran will challenge Paris at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 356 places (129 vs. 485). Westran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Salisbury (ranked 252nd) will meet Fayette (ranked 547th) at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
