Jaidynn Askins was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kimora Currie, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Jackson South Side pushed their record up to 13-4 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.88 points. As for Hardin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson South Side will face off against Chester County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chester County will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Hardin County, they will head out on the road to face off against McNairy Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
