Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cushing). They put the hurt on the New Summerfield Hornets with a sharp 31-0 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Bearkats brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Stephen Tamez and Boe Coleman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Tamez tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
