The Valley Christian Lions are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 406 points over their last six games.
Valley Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Golden Sierra 81-53 on the road. The victory was just what Valley Christian needed coming off of a 88-62 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Chase Clary, who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Matthew Larson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Madison Park Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a rough 71-22 loss at the hands of McClymonds. While losing is never fun, Madison Park Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 702nd, while McClymonds is ranked 195th).
Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Madison Park Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
