Wheaton will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Northwood at 7:00 PM. Wheaton is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Wheaton had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They fell just short of Springbrook by a score of 8-10.
Meanwhile, Northwood couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-49 to Paint Branch.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
