The Worland Warriors had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Hot Springs County with a 50-44 win on Thursday. The win was just what Worland needed coming off of a 49-22 loss in their prior contest.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hanna Hill, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Jayssie Owsley was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Worland's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Hot Springs County, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.
Worland will challenge Sheridan at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hot Springs County, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lovell at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th.
