 Meanwhile, Chavez fell victim to Shafter and their airtight defense  on Thursday. They were  outmatched by the Generals and fell  56-0. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
 Everything came up roses for Kennedy against Chavez in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  69-6 victory. In that  contest, the Thunderbirds amassed a halftime lead of  48-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
