The DSST: College View Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. DSST: College View knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Rocky Mountain Prep SMART likes a good challenge.
On Monday, DSST: College View got the win against Lincoln by a conclusive 55-34. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

DSST: College View relied on the efforts of Isaias Tomita, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine steals, and Josue Tomita, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 20 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Isaias is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least seven every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Sosa, who posted six points in addition to ten boards and seven assists.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART lost 65-41 to Lincoln on Friday. The Ocelotls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
DSST: College View will have to keep a close watch on Emmanuel Rodriguez-Gonzalez and Xavier Galvan, a pair of players who had a big impact on Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's prior game. Rodriguez-Gonzalez had 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Galvan earned 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That was a full 41.5% of Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points.
DSST: College View's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Keep an eye on the arc in Wednesday's matchup: DSST: College View has made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having averaged 8.8 three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, though, as they've been averaging only 3.7 threes. Given DSST: College View's sizable advantage in that area, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART will need to find a way to close that gap.
DSST: College View didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for DSST: College View since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
