The Selah Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Grandview 72-48. The victory was nothing new for Selah as they're now sitting on five straight.
Despite the loss, Grandview still got an impressive performance from Myla Armendariz, who scored ten points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marissa Castilleja, who scored ten points.
Selah pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Selah will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Wenatchee at 3:30 p.m. Wenatchee has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Grandview, they will head out on the road to face off against Prosser at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Prosser presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Grandview in Washington (Prosser is ranked 24th, while Grandview is ranked 175th).
