Jaxson Kemp Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 On Friday, Northern Guilford got the W thanks in part to  Jaxson Kemp playing the best football he has all season. Kemp threw for 273 yards and six touchdowns.
 The  victory for Northern Guilford keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Kemp and Northern Guilford will head out on the road to  challenge  Northwest Guilford  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Faizon Brandon Leads Grimsley over Western Guilford
 On Friday, Grimsley got the W thanks in part to  Faizon Brandon playing the best football he has all season. Brandon rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
 Brandon is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Ragsdale on Friday. When  Brandon last faced the Tigers  back in October of 2023, he threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Anders Mitchell's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
 On Friday, Northwest Guilford got the W thanks in part to  Anders Mitchell playing the best football he has all season. Mitchell threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 Northwest Guilford pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Mitchell and Northwest Guilford will take on Northern Guilford at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Fabian Diggs' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ragsdale over Southeast Guilford
 While  Fabian Diggs delivered a dominant  performance  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Ragsdale. Diggs turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
 Diggs and Ragsdale will square off against Grimsley at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers had to take a loss when they last met the Whirlies, but  Diggs had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Marsh Came Up Big in Southeast Guilford's  36-35  Win
  Alexander Marsh posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 117 yards while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns.
 The  victory  got Southeast Guilford back to even at 3-3. Marsh and Southeast Guilford will take on Southwest Guilford at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
