They had to suffer through a rough 56-19 loss at the hands of Sandy Spring Friends. Model Secondary School for the Deaf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-4.
Despite the loss, Model Secondary School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Mattea King, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Model Secondary School for the Deaf bumped their record down to 5-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Sandy Spring Friends, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
