The Hale Ray Noises will head out on the road to  take on  the Valley Regional Warriors at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hale Ray is coming into the  game hot, having won their last six games.

  Lily Jahne made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Jahne has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Jahne was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Hale Ray let  Briella Dean and  Makenzie Albert loose on the outfield. Dean  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Albert  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4.  Fenway Jankowski was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Valley Regional fell victim to North Branford and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  22-0 to the Thunderbirds. Valley Regional has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Hale Ray pushed their record up to 11-4 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Valley Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Valley Regional's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Hale Ray has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 11  hits per game.
