After a string of three wins, the Colleton County Cougars's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of James Island by a score of 57-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Colleton County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for James Island, they pushed their record up to 12-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
