The Constantine Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Mendon Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Constantine suffered a tough 58-36 loss at the hands of Lawton. Constantine has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Mendon pushed their score all the way to 58 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-58 to St. Philip Catholic Central.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ryder Gorham, who scored 17 points. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Quincy Blair, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Constantine's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mendon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Constantine took their victory against Mendon when the teams last played back in January of 2017 by a conclusive 48-26. Does Constantine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mendon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
