Southern Wayne's game  last Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Greene Central Rams with a sharp  11-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Saints needed considering they were shut out in their previous   match.
 Kaeden Hinson made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That  stolen base marked the first that  he  snagged this season.
 In other batting news,  Tyler Odom was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Mason McKee, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Southern Wayne  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greene Central only posted  an  OBP of  .273.
The  victory  got Southern Wayne back to even at 2-2. As for Greene Central,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Wayne will head out to  challenge Midway  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Greene Central, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Southside  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
