Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for North Miami

North Miami entered their tilt with North Judson-San Pierre on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Bluejays. Considering the Warriors have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jension Carr and Quinn Hostetler made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Carr pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Meanwhile, Hostetler tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Carr has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Carr went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Hostetler went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those four hits gave Carr a new career-high.

In other batting news, North Miami let Lake Musall and Ryan Meredith run wild. Musall went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Meredith went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. North Miami is 8-2 when Meredith posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise. Keaton Floor was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

North Miami was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Judson-San Pierre only posted a batting average of .333.

North Miami's record is now 13-8. As for North Judson-San Pierre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9-1.
