Thompson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. Rita Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since February 22nd.

Thompson pushed their record up to 22-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Rita, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
