While losing is never fun, Sands can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1025th, while Hermleigh is ranked 254th).
All Saints Episcopal School's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-4. As for Sands, they have fallen quite a ways from their 27-7 record last season and are now at 3-6.
