There's no place like home for the El Dorado Wolverines, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 59-51 victory over Ridgeview College Prep on Monday.
El Dorado's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamari Brown, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Christian Young, who scored 23 points along with two steals.
El Dorado's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Ridgeview College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
El Dorado will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully El Dorado likes a good challenge. As for Ridgeview College Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge ASU Prep Poly at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
