Norcom's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Manor Mustangs 38-8. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Tyrell Benton threw for 126 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes. Marquell Johnson was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.

Norcom's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Norcom will face off against rival Lake Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Meanwhile, Manor is set to challenge their familiar foe Norview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
