LOUISVILLE, Colo. -
Monarch (Louisville, Colo.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Jamie Falloon kicked a field goal with 10:00 left, bringing the team to victory over
Falcon (Colo.) 24-14.
After taking the lead on a
Kalen Ballage touchdown run, the Falcons went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Coyotes took the lead for good with a field goal by Falloon in the fourth quarter.
Falcon's Ballage played well. The junior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 10 touchdowns on the season.
Ethan Marks was the top performer for Monarch. He ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
MHS went into the matchup giving up only 9.4 points per game. The 14 points that FHS ended with were well below its average of 28.0 coming into the game.
