Brown's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of River Peters, who went 9 for 11 on his way to 20 points and five assists.
Maize's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Northwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
Maize will be playing at home against Andover Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maize knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Andover Central likes a good challenge. As for Northwest, it'll be Northside v. Southside when they and South meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
