The Ipswich Tigers won the last time they faced the Langford Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. Ipswich blew past Langford 60-28 on the road. Given Ipswich's advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Langford is ranked 115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Langford's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kalen Godel, who scored ten points along with three steals, and Dylan Harmon who scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harmon has scored all season.
Ipswich now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Langford, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Ipswich will head out on the road to face off against Webster at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Langford, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Hitchcock-Tulare at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th.
