Liam Enter Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Liam Enter posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Arizona Lutheran Academy over Tonopah Valley on Friday. Enter picked up 2.5 sacks and made seven total tackles (5.5 for loss).
Arizona Lutheran Academy moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Enter and Arizona Lutheran Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. John Paul II Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Tonopah Valley Gets a Boost from S?nchez Caldwell in 30-24 Victory
Sir-Izzik S?nchez Caldwell was instrumental in extending Tonopah Valley's winning streak to nine on Friday. S?nchez Caldwell was dynamite, throwing for 378 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt.
If history really does repeat itself, S?nchez Caldwell might just drop another big game when he faces off against Antelope on Friday. S?nchez Caldwell rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Tonopah Valley Wins Ninth-Straight Thanks to Najea Cooper
Najea Cooper was instrumental in extending Tonopah Valley's winning streak to nine on Friday. Cooper was excellent, picking up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.4). He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, defending a pass and snagged an interception.
On the season, Cooper has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 104.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 6.63 receiving yards per game.

Things weren't looking good for San Pasqual Valley heading into Thursday's tilt with NFL Yet Academy(they were ranked 804 places lower in their respective states), but Isaiah Martinez wasn't phased. NFL Yet Academy had no answer to Martinez on Thursday as he picked up 136 receiving yards and a touchdown. Martinez also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, Martinez has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 86.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three receiving touchdowns.
