AuSable Valley won the last time they faced Seton Catholic Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The AuSable Valley Patriots managed a 44-39 victory over the Seton Catholic Central Knights.

Seton Catholic Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Grace Trombley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards, and Dayline Willette, who posted eight points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. With that strong performance, Trombley is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Lenka Tardif also deserves some recognition as she scored her first point of the season.

AuSable Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Seton Catholic Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

AuSable Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will welcome Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boquet Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matches.
