The team relied heavily on Braden Sprinzen, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Tywon King was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
School Without Walls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The win made it two in a row for School Without Walls and bumps their season record up to 13-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
